From Bench to Wrist
Andy,Professional Skydiver
& Entrepreneur
« I go from airports to drop zones to warehouses. My watch bumps door frames, goes into gear bins, and deals with rough weather. It doesn’t need attention; it just keeps time. »
Andy splits time between running a skydiving gear brand and jumping out of airplanes. His days run on timing—gear checks, takeoff, freefall, landing. When fractions of a second matter, simpler is better.
He wears the Essence Leggera because it’s light and stays put. Before level-off, he loosens the fit so it sits over the flight suit; after landing, he tightens it a notch and opens the laptop. No stopping, no fiddling—he just keeps moving.
For Andy, the watch is part of the checklist. He gears up with it, lands with it, and moves to the next task. Same watch, all day. That’s the point.
