ABOUT THIS WATCH
Limited to just 31 pieces, this is a collaboration piece with one of the most active watch groups on Facebook, Watch Collectors Of California And Beyond (COCAB). Built in the tested and proven Essence stainless steel case with its signature Case Suspension System, this watch recognizes California with subtle design elements. On top of that, unique features, such as the patented Micro-Adjustment System, will make the Essence wear exceptionally comfortable on your wrist.
Movement
This watch is powered by Sellita's Top grade SW200-1 Swiss Made Automatic movement, 41 hours of power reserve, beautifully decorated with blued screws and wound by Formex's custom skeletonized rotor.
Dial
The blue dial with its sunray finish celebrates Californias beautiful ocean and the many lakes and rivers. The 4 and 9 o’clock indices are highlighted in gold color, as a reminder of the historical Gold Rush (or your favorite football team if you are so inclined.) Below the COCAB group logo, the year 1850 commemorates the year California became the 31st state, hence the limited number of 31 pieces which are individually numbered on the case back.
Straps and Clasps
For a perfect fit and more comfort on the wrist at all times, we're using the Formex Deployant clasp with a gradual, 7mm fine-adjustment system for all leather, rubber and nylon straps. The stainless steel bracelet, which reflects the same flawless finishing of the Essence's case, has a hidden Micro-Extension. All straps and the steel bracelet can be changed without the use of any tools and in just a few seconds.

FEATURES
A chronometer is a watch that has been tested and certified to meet the most strict precision and accuracy standards. “Chronometer” isn’t just a name that any watch brand can print on the dial of its watches. It is an official nomenclature, defined by precise rules, which lay down the definition of the term “chronometer”, describing the categories, the test programme and the acceptable minimum requirements for wrist chronometers. In Switzerland, the COSC, or Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, is the only official organisation allowed to certify chronometers.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Since the beginning of Formex in 1999, the patented Case Suspension System has been an integral part of Formex timepieces. Its two main functions are:
- absorbs shocks to protect the mechanical movement from heavy impacts
 - adds to the comfort on the wrist by adapting to the wearer’s movements

Modeled with high-performance bikes and racing cars in mind, the Formex patented case suspension system works by integrating four springs between the upper and lower watch case. The result is the ultimate shock absorption system designed to protect the mechanical movement and deliver unparalleled comfort to the wearer.
This patented case suspension system brings form and function together for Formex Swiss watches. It’s functional, it’s state of the art engineering and it’s unquestionably unique - all in one watch.
FINE-ADJUSTMENT DEPLOYANT CARBON CLASP
Your strap comes on our new deployant clasp with a patented fine-adjustment. More intuitive to operate, the new version is fully made out of our proprietary carbon fiber composite. The micro-adjustment is now even easier to use and can be operated while the watch is on your wrist. Lightweight, smooth to the touch, ultra-durable and highly functional, this clasp is a real piece of engineering, making your Watch even more comfortable to wear.
