Tarmac Grey draws one of the clearest visual connections to the runway, with its grey textured dial, bright Super-LumiNova® BGW9 Grade A markings and a red-tipped seconds hand providing a sharp technical contrast.
Broad sword-shaped hour and minute hands, a triangle flanked by two dots at 12 o’clock and a long, slender seconds hand with an aircraft-shaped counterweight introduce unmistakable aviation cues while preserving the immediate legibility expected from a true tool watch. The finely grained dial surface, sloped chapter ring and recessed, individually hand-filled numerals reinforce the sense of depth and precision.
The hardened 40 mm titanium case combines exceptional lightness with a surface hardness of approximately 900 Vickers, together with a screw-down crown and 150 meters of water resistance. Inside, the Swiss Made Sellita SW200-2 Power+ automatic movement delivers a 65-hour power reserve.

An Automatic, also called self-winding watch, is a mechanical watch in which the mainspring is wound automatically as a result of the natural motion of the wearer's arm, to provide energy to run the watch, making manual winding unnecessary. All our Automatic movements are manufactured in Switzerland.
A screw-down crown is a threaded winding crown that screws tightly into the case and prevents water and dust from entering. Screw-down crowns are commonly used in Diver’s watches, as they prevent from accidentally pushing open the crown, causing possible water damage.
A sapphire crystal or “glass” is a very hard, transparent material made of crystallizing pure aluminium oxide at extremely high temperatures. Sapphire is one of the hardest substances on earth. It measures 9 on the Mohs scale (diamond measures 10, the highest rating), which is a system for rating the relative hardness of various materials, making it virtually scratch proof.
Applying AR coating will limit the reflection on a sapphire or mineral glass to a very low level.
This watch features an ultra-strong and light-weight folding clasp, made of carbon fiber composite and a stainless steel or titanium buckle. The gradual fine adjustment system allows you to tighten or loosen the strap length when the wrist size varies due to temperature and activity.
All straps and bracelets can be interchanged by hand without the use of any tools and in a few mere seconds. This allows you to easily swap straps on the go and wear your personal style for any occasion.
Water resistance measures how much water pressure a watch can handle before it breaks. This measurement is important to know for the proper care and keeping of your watch. Water resistance of 150 m / 500 ft means that it can be used for swimming, snorkeling, and similar activities.
We back our watches with a 3-Year international warranty. In the rare case of a malfunction or a movement defect, you can contact us and send your watch back free of charge and we’ll repair it for you within 2 weeks.

All our watches are designed, developed and assembled in-house at our headquarters in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland and meet the current, more strict Swiss Made requirement, which entered into force on January 2017. The AirField is built around a lightweight 40 mm titanium case with short lugs and a slim profile for exceptional comfort on the wrist. A special hardening treatment increases the surface hardness to approximately 900 Vickers, making it significantly more resistant to everyday wear while preserving titanium’s low weight. A screw-down crown and 150 meters of water resistance add true all-purpose capability, while the faceted geometry and matte finish keep the case technical, refined and unmistakably Formex.

The AirField is available on two distinct strap systems, each designed around comfort and versatility. The lightweight nylon/Velcro straps are elastic, water-resistant and easily washable, making them an ideal choice for active wear and changing conditions. For a more refined look, the leather straps pair with Formex’s lightweight carbon fiber deployant clasp, featuring a patented 7 mm gradual fine-adjustment that lets you fine-tune the fit throughout the day. Both options are designed to make the AirField as adaptable on the wrist as it is in use.

The numerals and markers are individually hand-filled, and a color-matched date disc keeps the display integrated. A long, slender seconds hand with an aircraft-shaped counterweight completes the look.
