This win allowed the team to win the Team and drivers tittle at the Michelin Le Mans Cup with one round in advance before the end of the championship at Portimao.

Alex Toril: “It’s incredible, I have no words to describe this. We started the year in the last minute, only planning to do three races and now we are champions! I’m really happy for the team, everyone started as a Rookie, Jean and me, we never drove an LMP car before and the team never run such a car. We were also the only team with the new Norma LMP3 M-30, but it turn out to be the perfect car, so big thanks to Norbert Santos and the boys of Norma for giving us the best machine to make this achievement. This title is a team effort and can’t be more thankful to all the DKR Engineering crew who did an amazing job all over the year, leaded by Kendy Laclaes. For me is a big step in my career, especially this is a great happy end for an special year for me. Started winning Dubai 24H at the begining of the season, then later winning Road to Le Mans & LMP3 record lap at Le Mans, and now finally winning this title means a lot for me. Being 21 years old and already having so many good achievements in my career makes me extremely satisfied and I’m looking forward for the future!
