The Cultured Perspective (CP Time) is a unique collective of watch enthusiasts and collectors that blends a deep passion for horology with an embrace of Black culture. Founded by Dr. Albert Coombs and C’Quon Gottlieb in 2021, CP Time was created to foster a safe and inclusive community for people who share a love for watches while resonating with Black culture. Inspired by a desire to create a space where people with similar experiences and backgrounds could connect, CP Time has grown into a thriving community where knowledge, representation, and shared experiences come together. The group welcomes collectors of all levels and celebrates everyone’s individual watch journey, offering camaraderie, education, and inspiration within the world of horology.
